Govt won’t spare those who damaged public properties: Shehryar Afridi

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Interior Shehryar Afridi said on Saturday that the government won’t spare those who had indulged in vandalism and damaged public properties.

“Government of Pakistan won’t spare those involved in damaging public properties. Directed FIA & PTA to collect forensic data for evidence. They will be penalised IA,” tweeted Minister of State for Interior, Shehryar Afridi.

He followed up his tweet with another one in which he said that the state was concerned of the loss of citizens and would leave no stone unturned in identifying the source of vandalism.

The government signed a five-point agreement with protesters on Friday night. The deal was stuck to end countrywide protests by the TLP.

The government on the other hand agreed to take legal steps to include Aasia Bibi’s name on the ECL, release all protesters taken into custody among other things.
