Imran Khan convenes federal cabinet meeting today
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has convened a meeting of the federal cabinet today that will be discussing a 20-point agenda including the issue of giving a formal status of province to Gilgit-Baltistan.
Sources disclosed that following to the discussions of 20-point agenda, cabinet members will also review of implementation of the decisions taken during the last cabinet meeting as well as accord approval for those taken by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC).
Moreover, reliable sources also revealed that this meeting will review the supply to gas industries and transfer of matters of divisions which are under the Economic Affairs Division and added that “Forming a board of trustee for Karachi Port Trust (KPT) and appointment of chairman Port Qasim Authority are also key points in today’s meeting.”
It is also learnt here that discussion related to launching a Rs50 coin to mark World Anti-Corruption Day will also be in limelight.
