A video went viral on social media in which a Muslim female student sporting a hijab is severely beaten up by her classmate in a school in America.

According to details, the fight took place at Chartiers Valley School District. In the video, a girl can be seen uttering expletives at a girl wearing hijab and then attacking her.
Officials at the Chartiers Valley School District are investigating the incident. The school released a statement, saying that it did not condone violence of any kind.
“Chartiers Valley School District does not condone or tolerate violence of any kind and will enforce consequences to the fullest extent. The District considers matters of student safety and security to be of utmost importance and strives to provide a safe and welcoming learning environment for all of its students and staff,” read their statement.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said that it was ready to offer any kind of legal support to the victim should she need it.
“CAIR-Pittsburgh is offering legal support to the student’s family after she was shown on a video posted online being attacked in the bathroom of Chartiers Valley High School. The Muslim student was treated later for a concussion and severe bruising. Criminal charges are pending,” read their statement.
Collier Township Police Department on the other hand think it was an act of simple bullying and wasn’t a hate crime.
