KARACHI: Festivity is in the air as Junoon–arguably the most popular band of South East Asia–reunites after more than a decade and 13 years to be exact.

Geo News has partnered with Sooper biscuit to bring Junoon to DHA Sports Club (Moin Khan Academy) where they will enthrall thousands of fans from across the city.

Among other acts who will also display their talents and open for Junoon are Khumariyaan, Tamaasha, Lyari Underground, and Sounds Of Kolachi.

The show, which was slated to be kicked off at 6:00pm, has been delayed a bit. Gates for the entry opened at 2pm.

Founded by Salman Ahmad in 1990 in Lahore, the Sufi rock band Junoon released multiple albums and performed all over the world. In 2005, the band split as O’Connell returned to the United States and lead vocalist Ali Azmat and guitarist/vocalist Ahmad went their separate ways to launch solo careers.
