Fahad Mustafa hit out recently at web series and short films that feature abusive language, saying that they should not be accepted under the principle of freedom of speech.

Fahad Mustafa’s tweet raised some eyebrows when he said that if short films and web series were not decent enough then ‘they should just call it porn’.

His shot may be directed at Enaaya, a web series (the first of its kind) written, directed and co-produced by Wajahat Rauf (Karachi Se Lahore, Lahore Se Aagey) that features expletives.

The 12-episode web series is the first of its kind and is being released by Eros Now, a Mumbai-based entertainment platform.

The host of top-rated game show ‘Jeeto Pakistan‘ urged his fellow actors to avoid accepting cheap roles.

Taking a dig at web series and short films for excessive use of nudity and abusive language, the actor said that they should be little dignified or just call it porn.

“Nudity ,abusive language and just talking about sex is not content .lets not call it freedom of speech ! Actors selling themselves very cheaply its not cool at all .web series and short films needs to be a little dignified or they should just call it porn ..,” Mustafa tweeted.
