Pakistan women beat Windies in 3rd ODI to record historic win
DUBAI: For the first time in history, Pakistan women beat West Indies in the last one-day to record their first ever series win against the visitors on Monday.
The green shirts won the series 2-1.
Pakistan Women cricket team defeated West Indies Women by four wickets at Dubai.
Earlier, West Indies women won the toss and opted to bat first. They scored 159 in 47.3 overs. Skipper Stafanie Taylor was top-scored by 52 runs with four boundaries. Opener Deandra Dottin made 28 runs while Cambell scored 26 runs.
Diana Baig and Nashra Sandhu got 3 wickets each for the victors.
In response Pakistan women chased the target for the loss of 4 wickets. Opener Sidra Amin scored 52 runs with 5 fours. Nida Dar made 26 runs while Javeria Khan scored 24 runs. Shakera Selman took 2 wickets for opponents.
