Cricket match between Bangladesh, NewZealand called off following to shooting incident
The test match which was to be played today between the Black Caps and Bangladesh has been postponed subsequent to the incident of mass shooting near Hagley Park.
During the attack, fortunately the Bangladesh cricket team had a narrow escape.
According to official Twitter handle of BLACKCAPS, it was revealed that “Our heatfelt condolences go out to the families and friends of those affected by the shocking situation in Christchurch.”
It was also said in a Tweet that “A joint decision between NewZealand and Bangladesh has been made to cancel the Hagley Oval Test and added that both teams and support staff groups are safe.”
