Video: Dean Jones breaks down as he speaks on Asif Ali’s sick daughter
Islamabad United coach Dead Jones was unable to hold back tears as he talked about Asif Ali’s sick daughter during a presser a couple of days ago.
“I want to talk about Asif Ali who has a very, very sick child,” said Dean Jones during a press conference after Islamabad United defeated Karachi Kings in the first eliminator. “He’s a very good kid,” he added, before leaving with his red notebook.

Ahead of the clash against Karachi Kings, Islamabad United batsman Asif Ali got to know that his daughter was suffering from cancer.
Asif took his team to victory against Karachi Kings in the first eliminator, smashing a 10-ball 24 to take his side to a 10-ball 24 innings.
Asif Ali was praised by Islamabad United mentor Waqar Younis, who said that credit goes to the pinch-hitter for staying focused despite his daughter’s illness.
