Nazia Hassan started her illustrious career with the song Aap Jaisa Koi which became a sensational hit across South Asia. The song was immortalized by none other than Bollywood actress Zeenat Aman in the 1980 movie Qurban.
- Boom Boom (1982)
It had been two years since her career had started and Nazia Hassan had cemented her status as a pop sensation across South Asia. Her debut album charted in 14 countries and by then, she had become the highest selling South Asian artist.
Boom Boom was an instant hit with music lovers.
3. Aankhen Milanay Walay (1984)
This was probably the most famous song from her 1984 album Young Tarang. The album went on to sell 40 million copies in South Asia.
It was also the first album in South Asia to feature music videos.
4. Disco Deewane
This was perhaps the most prolific song by Nazia Hassan and her brother, Zoheb Hassan. The song continues to enjoy everlasting popularity as it was used in the recently-concluded opening and closing ceremonies of the PSL 2019.
