FM Qureshi pledges thorough probe into Quetta terrorist attack
MULTAN: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has promised that the government will investigate the Hazarganji terrorist attack from every angle to determine whether there was a foreign hand.
His remarks came as members of the Hazara community refused to bury their dead and staged a sit-in in Quetta over Friday’s terrorist attack that killed 20 people and left scores of others wounded.
“Pakistan is a responsible country and it will not act like India who issues irresponsible statements,” he was quoted by Radio Pakistan as saying.
Qureshi said that election process in India would continue till 19th of next month and there is need to remain vigilant.
Responding to a question, FM Qureshi said that Pakistan was playing its role to restore peace and stability in the war-torn Afghanistan.
He further said that PM Imran Khan would embark on a visit to China to attend one belt, one road conference, where he was scheduled to make a keynote address.
Qureshi said the Prime Minister will also hold talks with Chinese President during his visit.
He said Prime Minister will also visit Iran with in the next few days.
