Quetta blast: Shehryar, Bukhari fly to Quetta to meet families of victims

QUETTA: Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi and PM’s Special Assistant for Overseas Pakistanis Zulfiqar Bukhari flew to Quetta on Monday to condole with the families of April 12 terrorist attack in Quetta.

At least 20 people, eight of them members of Shia Hazara community, died and scores of others were wounded when a suicide bomber hit Hazarganji market in Quetta.

The Hazara community condemned the government’s failure to ensure their security and staged a sit-in which continued for the fourth consecutive day.

“Minister of State for interior Shehryar Afridi & Special Assistant to PM on overseas Pakistanis Zulfikar Bukhari in Quetta to condole the families of victims of #QuettaBlast, according to the ruling party.

The two officials also met Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal and expressed their condolence over loss of lives.
