MNA Mohsin Dawar welcomes full investigation into PTM’s finances
ISLAMABAD: PTM activist and MNA Mohsin Dawar said that his group was ready to assist full investigate to determine the source of its finances.
His reaction came hours after DG ISPR Maj-Gen Asif Ghafoor accused Pashtun Tahuffuz Movement of collecting funds from Afghan and Indian spy agencies to stage protest rallies in Pakistan.
“We welcome full investigation into our finances. Also hope that DG ISPR will support a truth & reconciliation commission that finds evidence on his empathy for missing persons,” MNA Dawar tweeted.
“We would also b very thankful if he gives a list of terrorists killed and captured in operations,” he said.
The Waziristan MNA also responded to allegations regarding cost of their jalsas.
“DG ISPR probably has very inflated estimates of jalsa costs in his mind. Not all jalsas need to have a DJ & concert level sound systems, neither do all Jalsas have paid participants. It’s d authenticity of our message that keeps our jalsa costs minimal & affordable,” he said.
The PTM leader alleged that there was a hybrid martial law in the country.
“Today we saw the real worth of our democracy, as a military officer challenged those demands of PTM that were endorsed by a committee of the Senate. We witnessed a hybrid martial law today, as the Govt is no where to be seen & a soldier became its spokesperson.,” he added.
