Hot, dry weather to prevail in Sindh, South Punjab
KARACHI: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very hot in south Punjab and Sindh, warned Met Office on Tuesday.
It said that dust-thunderstorm and rain is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, D.I.Khan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Multan divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during evening/night.
The heat wave conditions will continue to prevail over Karachi city and would last till 4 May, it said.
During this period, the maximum temperatures would range in 40-42C.
The hot winds from north/northwest direction of 10-15kts are likely to dominate especially during day times.
