‘Forcible action’ will take place to bring back Shahbaz, if he doesn’t returns: Fawad Chaudhry
LAHORE: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said yesterday that Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif would be brought back to Pakistan by means of force if he does not return back.
Fawad said this while talking to the media persons outside the Lahore High Court where he came to attend the proceedings of PTI’s leader Aleem Khan in a NAB case expressing solidarity with his companion.
Minister claimed that Shahbaz moved abroad after making humble requests and his movements shows that he might not return now.
“But we will bring him back,” Fawad added.
Fawad also said that people desire to witness a transparent process of accountability where decisions are made on pure meritocracy by the courts of law.
He said former minister of Punjab Aleem Khan would be acquitted soon after getting justice in his case.
Moreover commenting on the recent bailout agreement of the government with IMF, minister said that this deal made it explicit that the ruling government was forced to obtain loan package just because of wrong and ineffective policies of the previous governments.
