Amir, Asif Ali to be included in Pakistan World Cup squad: report

Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur, Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq and captain Sarfaraz Ahmed have reportedly decided to include batsman Asif Ali and pacer Mohammad Amir in the squad for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup.

According to report, it has been decided that Asif Ali to replace newly selected opener Abid Ali while Mohammad Amir in place of all-rounder Faheem Ashraf.

It is pertinent to mention here that the World Cup kicks off in England and Wales from May 30. While both Asif Ali and Mohammad Amir were initially left out of Pakistan’s preliminary 15-man World Cup squad ahead of the England series.
