AJ Sports named Pakistan’s World Cup kit sponsor
LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday announced AJ Sports are their kit sponsor for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, which will be played in England from 30 May to 14 July.
AJ Sports is an ICC-approved manufacturer, which has also previously sponsored and supplied clothing and cricket equipment to the Pakistan cricket team for various series.
PCB Director International, Zakir Khan said: “We are pleased to announce AJ Sports as Pakistan cricket team’s kit sponsor for the ICC Cricket World Cup. ”
While Director AJ Sports, Syed Ibne Haider, said in a statement that it is a matter of great pride and honour for us to be associated with the PCB as sponsors of the Pakistan cricket team’s kit for the biggest cricket event.
It is worth mentioning here that Pakistan will open their World Cup campaign at the Trent Bridge on May 31 against West Indies. Their other matches are against England (3 June, Trent Bridge), Sri Lanka (7 June, Bristol), Australia (12 June, Taunton), India (16 June, Old Trafford), South Africa (23 June, Lord’s), New Zealand (26 June, Edgbaston), Afghanistan (29 June, Headingley) and Bangladesh (5 July, Lord’s).
