Railways and Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that if the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) secures another term in government, it will introduce a new judicial system through parliamentary legislation and change the procedure for judges' appointment. Speaking to the media after a PML-N workers' convention, Rafique said that former premier Nawaz Sharif, who he claimed would soon return to Pakistan, would provide an outline of the new justice system and economy. Rafique criticised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan for his politics and lack of political insight. The PML-N has criticised the judiciary for its role in the country's politics.
